Before you move into your new home it is advisable to draw the
floorplan of the main rooms, take measurements of your main
pieces of furniture and position these to create the best layout
for your needs. You may need some general advice about how to
integrate your furniture and accessories into the current
scheme.

about your new space including where to site your furniture to
advice on colour schemes and styling.

Decorating
Do you just want help with your home?
You know what it's like! You buy lots of home style
magazines and hope the ideas will translate to your home and that
your house will be perfectly decorated. Yet somehow it never
quite seems right or finished! Or what about those great curtains
you had made in that fantastic fabric that now don't fit!
So how can MCH Interiors help you?
You may simply want Ad
Hoc advice about how the fabric, paint and furniture you have
chosen will work together. If you are undertaking the work
yourself our interior design workshops, courses and seminars will
give you practical advice and inspiration or send us your query
on line.
Alternatively, a home Consultation will help if you want more detailed
ideas covering type and colour of the flooring, whether to keep
or buy new furniture and choosing the style of the curtains.
If, after the consulation, you decide that you want the room
designed for you then our Full Design service will do. This service includes
the production and preparation of a design with room plans and,
if required, elevations.

Building/Conservatory
Are you having an extension or conservatory built?
You need more space but you've decided not to move. So,
what are the alternatives? You can contact an architect to extend
out or up, or build a conservatory. Either way, it costs a
considerable amount of money and are you sure that it will
provide the space you really need?
Will you be able to use the space all year? Will your existing
furniture? Where will the TV go? These are some of the questions
we can help you with.
So how can MCH Interiors help you?
For general advice on the architect plans we can help you on
an Ad Hoc basis charged
at the hourly rate. A visit may not be necessary (see
'on-line help')
but a copy of the plans and details of the furniture are required
and will be returned with any suggestions.
For more detailed advice covering the use and layout of your
space, a 2 hour home Consultation is recommended which will provide you
with a sketched layout for your new space and hand-written notes
with the details discussed.
You may decide to let someone do all the design work for you
and our Full Design
service will do just that. This service includes the production
and preparation of a design with room plans and, if required,
elevations.

Soft Furnishings
Are you looking for a new blind or stylish curtains?
MCH Interiors specialises in hand-finished
soft furnishings, whether you are looking for something
contemporary or traditional we are able to help. We have a
selection of fabric pattern books at our disposal, so you get to
choose a fabric to make the most of your style and colour of
room. We also have access to several ranges of poles (wood and
metal including cast iron) and tracks.
We are also happy to make up the curtains in your own fabric
subject to a charge for collection and delivery although
unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any faults in the
cloth or shortages.
We also make up loose covers for chairs and sofas, duvet
covers or throws to match your curtains. And, of course, scatter
cushions to add a bit of colour and texture to your home.
If you live in the Limousin area in France, specifically Haute
Vienne or Creuse, we can also provide this service for you.
